Scenes from London Coffee Festival 2015

01/05/2015

It’s that time of the year: the London Coffee Festival is back at the Old Truman Brewery and it’s as busy as usual!

The London Coffee Festival celebrates London’s bustling and vibrant coffee scene. With over 22,000 visitors expected, The London Coffee Festival promises to be an unmissable event for discerning coffee lovers and those working in the coffee scene. The festival will feature over 250 artisan coffee and gourmet food stalls, tastings and demonstrations from world-class baristas, interactive workshops, street food, coffee-based cocktails, live music, DJs, art exhibitions and much more. I have been going to the festival for a few years now, but I always enjoy going back to taste different coffees, discover new products, like the new Linea by La Marzocco.

And meet up with my friends and clients in the coffee industry, like Small Batch Coffee Roasters.

I could also practice my latte art skills at the Artisan Coffee stand and make espressos with Sage Appliances barista machines.

Last year I visited the London Coffee Festival 2014 on the last day, Sunday, and spent most of the afternoon at the True Artisan Cafe with Terrone Coffee.

I was at the festival today – a trade day – since the opening at 10am until around 4pm. It’s tiring, it’s busy, it’s hot. But it’s also lots of fun and you get to try very good coffee and chat to lots of interesting people working in the industry.

There are street food stands, chocolate brands and bakeries, so there’s plenty of reasons to spend a whole day at the festival!

If you are passionate about coffee, the London Coffee Festival is definitely the place to visit this weekend!
